I had my appendix out 5 weeks ago (by lapascory surgery) this thurs?

Question:
Im getting the stitches taken out of my belly button and the bottom left scar does it hurt when getting them taken out?

Answers:
I think it feels more of a weird sensation than actual pain.
my mum had her appendix out last summer, and she said it doesn't hurt to get it out, but it feels weird and you can feel them taking it out
It might feel like little stings, and you may feel the stitches pulling some, but it doesn't usually hurt. Take some tylenol or whatever you normally use for pain before you leave for your appointment and you should be fine. :)
For the most part no. If he used "thread" instead of staples, the one which has the final knot in it, may hurt, but the pain is mild.
you just feel a pulling sensation when getting the stitches out
No, it doesn't hurt. Don't worry, you'll be ok. Take care!
No, not really. Some people may feel a light pinching sensation. As long as the sites healed well, in other words, they didn't get infected, then you should be fine. If you are nervous, you can take some Tylenol or Motrin ( Ibuprofen) about 45 mins. before you appt. I hope that this helps.
see a doctor
It can be somehow uncomfortable.that is why, two tablets of percodyl or percocet are given 1 to 11/2 hours before the procedure.
It is unpleasant, however IT DOES NOT HURT,,,because the stitches do notcarry nerve fibers, and thus, they do not have to feel any pain (the main concern here is the fear of the patient for such a procedure.)
After laparoscopy you will find only 3 small incisions of about one third of an inch each one of them.
We put no more than 3-4 stitches in each wound,,,,
It does not hurt.relax
