Try an ice pack; lay on the floor with ice under you for ten minutes at a time. Also, if you're on your back with your knees up, you can push on your legs near your hips and stretch out your spine a bit. That has helped me before.
Icy Hot patches are good, too.
Too bad you don't take pills; could you break them in half? My favorite chemical for back pain in Naproxin (Alleve), but I haven't seen it as a liquid. If you could take St. Joseph's Aspirin, those are very small and they taste good.
rub icy hot on it...and it has a nice peppermint smell..i mean its quite strong..but it works for me...just word of advice NEVER take it after a hot shower.IT BURNS!! ...open pores and all
a massage
suck it up and take the pills, they work a thousand times better!
go see a chiropractor, massage your back, and i'm not aware of any liquid pain medications.
go to a chiropractor.
You are better talking to a doctor becuase you could be allergic to the brands people mention here . Your docotr will know the best .
well now is the time to take pills...i dont believe they make liquad medicine for aches and pains, mainly just sore throats, u could try that new roll on stick think(think advil or aleve make it) or u could buy icy hot, works good for muscle aches.
Liquid Tylenol works well for me. It starts working fast because it gets to your veins quicker than pills; however, the relief doesn't last very long.
Liquid Lortab is also nice, but only by prescription or black market.
Try stretching a bit. And also every morning and before going to bed. It should release the tension in those muscles so you won't get pain as often.
Hope it helps...
Get well soon ^_^
NYQUIL cures everything teehee.. for real it will help.
Liquid Tylenol or microwave a dry towel for a few minutes and when it cools enough to handle, place it on your back.
screw whoever said to be doped up on painkillers, what an oversocialized fool he is. Yoga, stretching, adequate posture, hot baths and ice occasionally.
I reckon your best bet is to rest and relax for a day or 2. Just lie as flat as possible.
Tylenol makes a liquid for adults. Also try icy/hot patches.
Why don't you take pills? Unless you have some chronic disorder that doesn't allow you to take pills then you should get over it and take pills. You will have to take pills someday if you get sick and go to the doctor. Advil or Moltrin will work.
If you really really can't take pills because of something serious not just a petty fear of choking on a pill (which doesn't happen, that's like choking on water) then you will probably need ask your doctor. They don't have any liquid pain relievers for adults and children's wouldn't have the correct dosage on the box.
Tylenol has a liquid form (designed for kids).
Hot or cold packs (depending on the type and cause of the pain) are probably your best bet.
Try laying on a heating pad. On the floor if possible, flat surfaces seem to make a world of difference.
Well there are all sorts of liquid non-steroidal anti inflammatory meds (NSAIDS) that would be like Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Advil (ibuprofen), not sure about much else without seeing your doctor or you could ask your pharmacist.
Some tablets or capsules can be crushed but you must check the directions to see if it is ok to do this to them.. if they are time released they are not supposed to be crushed or opened...
Have you had this examined? Where does your back hurt, upper or lower back? Some back discomfort can be due to an individual not ingesting enough water therefore its' kidney related. If your urine have a stronger than usual odor, you should have your kidneys checked for possible inflammation or an infection.
If this continues, get it checked out. If you are not aware that you have muscle strain, or a kidney issue there could be something else going on.You may need to sleep on a hardened surface for a while. Metaphysically speaking back complaints are related to financial concerns.
When you don't know the origin of your condition, consider everything.
Success with getting this taken care of...
