I tore my lateral meniscus about 3 months ago and i was out for like 5 weeks and the doctor said i didnt need?

Question:
didnt need surgery because after 5 weeks i could still run...and all pains went away and i started lifting my legs and taking "trigosamine" which is a joint supplement...then like 2 weeks ago i stopped lifting and now im starting to feel slight knee pains again when i run ... why ?

Answers:
Lots of people develop knee injuries when they run. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with your previous injury. It would be interesting to know if you have knee pain while swimming. If you do, you need a check up immediately. If your pain gets worse you have to get it checked out.
