Health Insurance?

I have Blue Cross and Blue Shield from my job. It is very expensive for me and my wife. Is there any other option of affordable insurance that is worth a damn when I actually need it? Not some cheap.."Bob's Insurance" or something like that...

The group policies are expensive because they are comprehensive. The premium for an individual policy with the same benefits would be much higher. However, if you don't need all the benefits of a group policy (such as maternity) you might find a good plan for less money.

Visit a local independent agent. This person works with the good companies, such as Blue Cross, and can find a policy that's best for your situation and budget. They don't charge you anything for the service.
