It is called Planter Fasciitis. It is a the muscle/tendon sheet on the bottom of your feet. Its main sign in a sharp pain in your feet when you wake up. To relive the pain you can try stretching your feet( I know it sounds odd) but stand with your foot against you bed post or door frame and strech as if you were stretching you calf, also grab the tips of you toes and the bottom of tou heal, with the toes push then back(towards your body) you will feel a slight stretch. If it does not start to feel better go see a doctor they may put you in a night splint for your foot to keep it at about a 90degree angle. hope this helps!!
So I was having that happen,.
It turned out my shoes were too small!
hmm never had it but i guess you could have bad circulation of blood in your feet, so after laying dormant without much blood at your feet when you start to walk around the blood will flow down the way making it feel less painful, if this is the problem then i guess you could wear socks in bed or them orthapedic sock thingys tht let blood flow easy.
Is it in your heal mostly. In the morning, I could barley walk and a few hours later it was fine.If it is I has the same thing. It was a spur. Some stretching exercises helped and hot soaks. If it gets to bad a small surgery is an option.
I had this!! The first few steps in the morning are a killer!! I would also have extreme pain after sitting for a long periods and then beginning to walk. I was diagnosed with plantar fascitis(sp) and was told to take ibuprofen and given some stretching excercises to do. There has also a surgery that can be done, but doesn't guarantee lasting results. It is caused from a tendon in your foot. I believe it runs from the toe area to the heel area.
