Question:
I broke my elbow bad 2 years back, so now i can't turn my wrist. I have pain on the outside of my wrist and it clicks all the time loudly , it feels very fragile. I'm only 16 years old, I don't want any wrist problems at this age. How can I help the situation?
Answers:
You need physical therapy to rehab the elbow and wrist. If not then you will end up with problems that continue for the rest of your life. The physical therapist will make sure that you gain all the motion that you can gain back and make sure you get your arm as strong as possible.
I would definitley schedule an appointment with your doctor/ physical therapist . ASAP. I have snapped tendons in my wrist and only gone to my doctor much later, and now I'll have to get surgery to re-align them when I'm older so I won't have arthritis. If you are playing sports or anything physical, wear a wrist brace. It will help it from getting damaged.
