My big toe nail came off but its still hanging there, what can I do??

sOAK IT IN SALT WATER. oR GO TO THE OCEAN AND SOAK THERE. tHE SAME THING HAS happened to me. Make sure your tape up when sleeping etc until it comes off.
Cut the part thats alread ripped off.
Rip it the rest of the way off.
i lost my big toe nail just take it off if you can or go see your doctor because that nail is just harvesting germs that could infect your toe. make sure if you do take the nail off you immeditly flush it and then put some neo sporin on it and wrap it in gauze so nothing else can get to it. than if you can when your just layin around take the gauze off and let the air help dry it out. It seriously took 3 monts before i saw signs of a new nail.
Gather your courage and remove the nail completely.
It might hurt like blazes but at the moment is only acting as a site for infection to take hold.
Keep the area as sterile as possible using disinfectant regularly (betadine, iodine, or equivalent), keep it dry, and covered (not tightly bandaged - keep the cover secure but loose)...and give it time to heal.
