..If I call my dr about hemorrhoids...?
Question:
(I'm also 10 weeks pregnant)
Answers:
If the hemorroid is thrombosed, which means there is a clot in there, they can remove it and your relief will be instantanous. It involves a little local anesthetic injection and is very effective.
talk to your ob/gyn cause hemorrhoids are part of the pregnancy package and I am sure you doctor will have something to help
GO GET A PRESCRIPTION FOR YOUR PROBLEM,
Ugh... I've been there when I was pregnant. I sympathize with you! There's not really much the doctor can do beyond what you're already doing, but it doesn't hurt to ask her about it. Maybe there's a trick up her sleeve...
I have found that sitting on a Sitz Bath of very warm water is a really good way to help hemorrhoids. Your doctor will probably prescribe some type of suppositories for you. Try the sitz bath. It always works for me. I had a really bad time one time for about 2 weeks. It just takes time.
better work on that before the baby comes or when they say "PUSH!" they may get more than they bargained for!
My mate just had to have a minor surgery done and they had to lance what was outside--because it had been there a month--
I had some several years ago. They gave me the same stuff and they just kept getting worse. Finally I told the doctor it wasn't working, so he lanced them. It just involved making a tiny cut right on the thing. Then he squeezed it and a small blood clot came out. He squeezed again, and a second one came out. (He said there are always 2 clots). It felt incredibly better! If it hurt, I didn't feel it because the other hurt so bad, He just put a little bandaid type dressing on it, and told me to use a fibre supplement until my next BM (so it'd be easy). They've never bothered me since.
If you keep bothering the doctor he may call you a "Pain in the A**"
HAHAHA
