What will happen if a person takes a total of 3 x rays in a day?

Nothing. Even though we hear alot about overexposure to x rays, it would take many years and many x rays before there would be any side effects from overexposure. The lead apron that is placed over the body, greatly reduces the risks.
The only thing that will happen is the doctor will have more xrays to look at.
There is such thing as too much radiation exposure (Chernobyl). If you have 3 x-rays a day for many days this could mutate your genes, supposedly. And that is not a good thing. You will not become one of the X-Men. More like the politician in the first movie that turned into water. JK, but it can be bad.
