Do you think i have appendicitis?
Question:
Answers:
I don't think it's appendicitis. If you had appendicitis you would probably be in some serious pain, may be vommiting, and have a slight fever. However, your symptoms could still indicate that something is going on. It probably wouldn't hurt to make an appointment with your doctor to go over the symptoms and get an exam. It could just be a little indigestion, maybe an ovarian cyst. Get checked out just to be safe. Good Luck, feel better soon! :-)
Appendicitis is very painful and you won't be able to feel anything but pain with or without bowel movements. You may have a blockage in your intestine or your intestine may be folding backwards into itself. You may have a hernia. You could also have diverticula in your intestines. You need to see your doctor about this because it isn't normal and it might be something that will require surgery to repair.
In addition... if you have to have surgery you will have to have shots. You wouldn't want anyone cutting you open while you're awake and can feel things would you? No one likes shots, not even doctors and nurses, but they are little needles and don't hurt nearly as much as you tell yourself they do.
If it was appendicitis, you could have a great deal of pain, but not for so long. I sound like constipation or colitis if you have to strain hard enough to be in pain. And, if it was appendicitis, you would certainly have to have it removed - or die from peritonitis - so get over it. See your doctor and I am sure that you will find that he/she can give you a diagnosis better than we can. Good luck!
It could be appendicitis or your gall bladder. My ex-husband had the same problem and he found out that his gall bladder was poisoning him. You don't have to be in a lot of pain to have problems and you don't need to be in pain 24/7 to have something wrong. My ex didn't always have pain which is why he ignored what was happening to him. If I hadn't made him go to the hospital, he wouldn't be alive today. He was in the hospital for 3 weeks because of it. Go to the doctor and have some scans done to make sure it's not appendicitis or your gall bladder. If it turns out that you don't have such problems, then have a Colonoscopy to rule out IBS or anything else. Good Luck!
Medical History and Physical Examination
Asking questions to learn the history of symptoms and a careful physical examination are key in the diagnosis of appendicitis. The doctor will ask many questions—much like a reporter—trying to understand the nature, timing, location, pattern, and severity of pain and symptoms. Any previous medical conditions and surgeries, family history, medications, and allergies are important information to the doctor. Use of alcohol, tobacco, and any other drugs should also be mentioned. This information is considered confidential and cannot be shared without the permission of the patient.
