Make sure to each carbohydrates (pasta, bread, crackers) about a half hour to an hour before you run. Run for about 1/4 mile and stretch out your muscles. Less likely you'll get side aches. You'll get side aches sometimes, especially after awhile when you run if you don't do it daily. And your stomach is just naturally cooler than the rest of your body because of the blood pumping through your arms, legs, and face. Your fine, it happens to a lot of people.
loll
well when you eat wait about half an hour before you run
maybe you're running too much and you haven't ran a lot at one in a long time. Maybe you need to get used to it. Wait while until you can run again.
First off, when you have question about symptoms such as this you should always consult a physician. The posting boards are not the place to get advice about potentially life threatening illnesses or conditions.
I dint know what level your running at or how much more or less it is relative to what your used to running at, but pain in the sides and stomach are common for severe running exertion. I've been out of shape for a while now and am just starting to exercise again. My sides, stomach, chest, limbs and even spine hurt with the kind of strain i put on my body when i exercise.
My advice to you is to stop exercising and see a doctor for a physical examination. If he says it's normal in your case, then keep doing it and maybe even try to push a little harder when you feel you can.
CRAMPS. You need to pace yourself and learn how to breathe more efficiently. Stretching before running will help as well. Also, the best thing to do is run though the pain..the cramps will go away eventually, although running with them is agaonizing until they do stop :0)
