What wrong with my Ear?

Question:
I have blur hearing in my right ear for a few weeks now. & now its starting to hurt everytime i yawn or hicup my ear like makes this crackling noise and feels like my eardrum is about to pop out. What can this be?

Answers:
It might be otitis externa or media.

Does the pain get worse when you tug on your earlobe, or is your ear swollen at all (externa)?

Do you have a fever (media)?

Other symptoms are pretty much shaired by both symptoms. These aren't difinitive tests, though, mind you. Just options. Look them up on emedicine or webmd or google and see what fits.

Best to get it checked for sure. Go see and ear nose throat doctor.

Good luck!

It sounds like you might have an infection in your ear. Get a doctor to take a look: You might need antibiotics.

Good luck!
It's called an ear infection. You can actually lose your hearing from that. You need to see your doctor and get on some antibiotics.

I lost 60% of my hearing from an ear infection that was never treated until it was too late to save my hearing.
same here, have you been swimming? it may be swimmers ear or a punctured ear drum, also it may be an ear infection
