Death beds. Do you own one?

Question:
Many people are known to have died while sleeping in a so called "death bed." Why are the government still allowing these devices to be sold in our shops? Whay are health and safety executive still making me wear a luminous vest in the cab of my truck but I can just go home and jump in to my "deah bed" and not wake up the next morning?
I think it's time for them to be banned and an amnesty called if you take in your old death bed and swap it for a nice new Sealy double drawer divan with pocket spring mattress.
What do you lot think?

Answers:
I don't own one myself, I believe you get them free with a fatal illness. When do your normal legs turn into your last legs and could this be cured by simple amputation!?!
Where did you get your death bed from? was it the internet?
I like my memory foam topper a bit to much to buy a new bed just now, but possibly in the future!
What's a death bed like? Where would you get it? Why would I want to have one in the first place?
I hope mines not a death bed, I'll have to check. I don't as far as I know have a death wish.
I can only say ive never heard of such a thing, unless you mean going into hospital and never coming out, that seems to happen a lot here!
But one should always have the option of having a death bed, should they ever feel the need to say, "**** it, I've had enough." One should not be denied the ability to end one's life. And what better way to end it than to crawl into bed one last time for a final escape?!? I would be upset about having to wear the luminous vest.

My mattress of choice would be one from the Original Mattress factory. It offers the sweetest of escapes.
are you refering to a adjustomatic bed? I have a silent night double sprung luxury pocket single with extra support for my back it is the best bed in the world.
I would think departing from this life whilst asleep would be quite a nice way to go.

What are these death beds that you refer to, do tell.

Yes I would like a nice new bed as you describe.

I do think a lot - perhaps too much sometimes.

This is what I think. :O)
ive never heard of the "death bed" before!!
Well perhaps the goverment are planning on making everyone wear luminous vests in bed that way they will think there is less chance of dieing in bed.but there are other ways of dying in your death bed.yes an aeroplane could fall on your deathbedroom, the floor could fall down thus producing a fast falling effect for the deathbed and yourself, a theive could get a little nervous about seeing someone asleep in bed with a lumunious vest and stab, attack, smother, shoot etc you in bed. I have to agree that this phenominom should be well thought through and the goverment apply most if not all of the funding into the deathbed/luminious vest situation.

I wouldn't mind a water deathbed but then you also have the added chance of drowning.then the deathbed becomes murderbed or killerbed
Haha, nice one. lol.
I think you've seriously lost the plot! LMAO!
To Sunshine, (Ray of) that was the best answer I've ever read on this, absolutely brilliant, still laughing, well done.
