Ok this is a gross one but help would be much appreciated.?

Question:
In the past month i've noticed that by the end of the day my belly button is stinky... I have an innie. Every day when I shower I clean it and its fine but it comes back the very next day. Anyway, what I think i've narrowed the problem down to is there feels like there is a cut or something inside that hasnt healed. What would you suggest to do to take care of this problem and heal that cut since it is in a weird area?

Answers:
Hydrogen peroxide works wonders! I get dry skin in my belly button and this works a treat:

soak a q-tip in hydrogen peroxide. Clear out the belly button with the q-tip. At the same time as clearing it, if there is a cut or infection going on this should help it to heal.
If yoiu can smell your own belly nutton, you must be really flexible.

If yoiu think there is a wound in there, pour peroxide down in it. Let it dry, then apply neosporin with a Q-tip to it. Do this each day.
clean the area/wound with betadine then apply neosporin to promote healing. if you have drainage which may be the case, use a cotton ball and tape it securely and change the dressing every 4 hrs.
