Pain in my neck area right under my ear. What could it be?

Question:
It is about 1 inch from my ear and 1 inch toward the middle of my neck. It is very sore in 1.5 inch radius. Could it be a lymph node? I am not sick, why would it be hurting and swolen?

Answers:
It could be a lymph node. It could also be your ear canal. You might consider going to see your doctor. Hope it feels better soon.
Could be a gland thing.

Could be an inner ear infection.

Also, check the area for poisonous darts.

.
you could be getting an ear infection, and one of the many glands around you ear is swollen cause it's trying to ward it off! i'd make a doc appt to be safe.
