Can someone please recomend a good prescription sleep aid.?

Question:
something that really works. thank you.

Answers:
I used to use Ambien, then my Dr. changed it to the Ambien CR, and it is a god send. Gave me a script for 30 tabs, and have only had to take them about 4 times. Any sleeping aid is something you don't want to take on a continuous basis. All of the suggestions are good, but different sleeping aids work different for each user
Ask your doctor.
try salt lamp.
lunesta or ambien
I use ambein . It only works if I take it every other day though, but I have primary insomnia so nothing really works on me good..Did you find out what kind of insomnia you have? If it's secondary the Pills seem to work better..Good Luck.
Its not prescription, but Tylenol PM worked great for me.
I use the over the counter sleep aid you can use Tylenol pm..but there is the generic brand that doesn't have the Tylenol which is the better idea..cause if you use too much Tylenol you could wind up with liver toxicity...I don't have the exact name of the ingredients..it starts with a "d" it comes in 25 mg or 50 mg. It's actually just as good as the prescription ambien. Or you could also use benadryl
