Indian style is not an anatomically correct position, so your legs are telling you to stop! It's that simple! Take good care, sit with your back straight, shoulders back, legs together and in front of you, hands around shins. Really, you should be in a chair though... just thought if you're on the floor Indian Style, there are other alternatives that won't hurt you a bit. Please do what's COMFORTABLE for you! Have a great day!
it might be growing pains or you could have pulled a muscle (even it could have been the way you were sleeping) if the pain continous for more than a few days maybe go see a doctor
Sitting that way cuts off circulation in the legs! No one can sit that way for very long! Try doing some stretching exercises.
Good luck and may God bless you.
You may be developing rheumatoid arthritis. If you run/jog a lot, it could be repetative stress syndrome. the cartilage in your knees could be a little worn. You may also be less flexible than you used to and the position is putting stress on the ligaments in your knees.
you should not be siting in that postion , that is why it hurts
