Question:
My ma 58 years old and has suffered many health problems including seizures and strokes and walks with a walker. She usually recieves her social security check at the end of the month, and now we are into the first week of august and still no check. On Friday the 13, she suffered another stroke and since then has not been home. The doctor reccomended first rehab and then temporary and possibly permanent nursing home. She has not gotten to start her rehab because she's been back and forth from the rehab/nursing home and the hospital. Would this have anything to do with why she hasn't recieved her social security check? Any help would be appreciate, thank you.

Nope it shouldn't have a thing to do with it. Call Social Security if it is delivered to her home. People do steal mail even if it is a Federal offense. If it is direct deposited (which is absolutely the safest way) call the bank.
