Broken Leg, Should you be feeling pain one week after it is in cast. Bad pain.?

Question:
Leg was broken in a football match, how tight should the cast be, I can push my fingers under the cast, now that the swelling has gone down.

Answers:
Give it a sniff....if it smells rotten get it off quick.... leg..i mean ....not the caste..that`ll keep the pus from leaking all over the place!!
Yea I broke my wrist in football and I think it hurt pretty bad for a couple of weeks. I had trouble sleeping etc. But eventually the pain will diminish.
the pain is from nerves.
i dont know cuz i never use cast i use chinese way of fix my legs they put 4 stick together to made you leg streight and then wrap around the stick also they put some medicine in it . it heal fast those .
u should only feel a little pain maybe not even any pain at all.
hope that helps!
feel better!:(
yeah you normally can fit 1 or 2 fingers in the cast.
it's gonna hurt for a couple weeks.
but you will probably go in once in a while to get it checked on, so if you are still having problems then you can tell the doctor.
it hurts because the bone has snapped and the nerves might have gotten stressed. nerves will kill until they heal. now it's healing. I have broken my left arm, right pinky, and right wrist. I have even broken two vertabrae in my back. talk about pain. I was pretty sure I was going to die and I was only 13.
anyways, you can take one Aleve pill and it will last about 12/13 hours.
if it still hurts a lot by this time next week, call the doctor and ask him.
see a doctor
