Why is there pain in my left shoulder blade?

Question:
I have emphyzema and when i do a lot of talking the left side of my glands in my throat become dry and I can't bring up the mucus that is lodged in my throat. I also get this sharp pain in my left shoulder blade.

Answers:
You made a bad move.
I would think it's because of your lungs and the emphyzema.

Look up human body lungs on the web and find a good diagram that shows all the parts really well. Also look up emphyzema and look for info on effects. Look again for a diagram so that you can understand your body and your condition.

Help others to not smoke. Kids start every day. :(
You have not only emphysema, also due to cold, suffering from bronchitis, faryingitis/laryngitis and due to bronchial tendency, you are feeling sharp pain in your left shoulder blade. You need immediately proper treatment. So, first go to a G.P. for diagnosis. Then E.N.T. specialist.
AVOID SMOKING (because you are a chain smoker, as per your symptoms) without fail, neither you will be ruined.
