Can u give a dog acetaminophen for pain?

Question:

Answers:
Never ever treat your pets with people meds unless authorized by your vet. You wouldn't want to kill him I know. Just take him to the vet.it's worth the investment!
NO, never give a dog tylenol (acetaminophen). At most, you can give them a baby aspirin, but I would contact your vet before you do anything. Never ever ever give them tylenol.
I wouldn't it could be poisonous for him.
I've never been told about scetaminophen but I know you can give them ibuprophen or asprin. Just make sure that if you give them ibuprophen, it's with food. Also, give them doses acording to size. If it's a 20 lb. dog then give it a dose like you would a 20lb. child.
Never EVER give a dog any sort of human medicine (except ipecac but that's for if it ate something bad, chocolate or your watch etc.). Call your vet and make an appt. When you go to the appt. tell the vet how you know the dog is in pain. He/she will most likely prescribe a pain killer for the dog. I may cost some but it is your dog, and if you are like me, the dog is part of your family.
NO WAY
You can give a dog baby asprin only.
My little dog was attacked by two huge dogs.
I gave him a quater of a baby asprin three times a day
He is fine now. And wow I could see how much the asprin helped.
