Anyone tell Me whats wrong with my knee?

Could be many things from a sprianed ligament to a meniscal tear. The meniscus is the cartilage on top of your tibia (shin bone), the act as stabilizers and shock absorbes in your knee. It is common to tear them with twisting type injuries and sometimes the torn portion can flip up and get pinched, that could be the popping you feel or if your knee locks up at all it could be another sign of a meniscus tear. If it is a minor sprain of the ligaments it could be at least 4-6 weeks to heal, if it is a torn ligament or a meniscus tear you will need surgery to fix the problem. The most common ligament to sprain would be the MCL,on the inside of your knee but it doesn't sound like that's where you are complaining of pain. Either way you should get to see a doctor so they can examine your knee and possibly order an MRI.
You really need to see a doctor about that. Typically I would say that it was just a bruise or something but in your case you could've injured a tendon or a ligment as you twisted your knee. Call your general practitioner for an appointment and see what they say, they may end up referring you to an orthopedist or maybe a physical therapist.
Hope this helps. Good Luck. :-)
i would say that u need to go and see ur Dr b/c u may have sprained a ligament when u twisted ur knee.
i injured my MCL on the 25th of June and i'm just now starting to be able to have some "normal" function in that knee...
i just started PT after being in an immoboilzer for just about 5 weeks...
Good Luck and Quick Healing
given what you have described i can only assume so here's what it sounds like to me...i think you may have injured your meniscus. it's a ring of cushioning between your thigh bone and shin bone at your knee joint. go to the doc and get a referral to physical therapy or an orthopedic surgeon.
