If I can't walk on my leg, does that mean I broke my ankle?

Question:
Well I don't have insurance and I'm 23. I was playing soccer and I landed abnormally on my leg and bam heard about 4 - 8 cracks from my ankle. I am unable to walk. Can't put any pressure on my leg at all what so ever. Does that mean its broken? I didn't think its broken since I am able to move my toes. Without insurance, I don't know how to recover now. What do I do?

Answers:
Is your ankle swollen and black and blue? If not, you probably didn't break it, you may have a bad sprain or even torn ligaments. Either way all of these need to be checked out by a doctor. Check your telephone book and see if there are any free clinics in your area. Check for neighborhood clinics, they are usually cheaper than hospitals. If all else fails, get to an emergency room. They MUST treat you to find out what is wrong, regardless of your ability to pay.
if you broke it, you would be in so much pain you couln't type this.
You probably broke it. you could go to emergency but since i am only 12 i have no clue how much that costs. I just got over breaking my ankle i fell down the stairs and was not allowed to walk for 6weeks. I was able to move my toes when i broke it just like i could move my fingers when i broke my wrist and vise virsa when i broke my fingers. If the emergency just dont walk on it for about 6 weeks and get crutches.
