Help my fingers are burning from scooping out the seeds of jalepeno peppers - how to I make the burn stop?

Try soaking them in milk.
Rub with margarine or butter. Might try adding some vanilla after the butter. Not water. Keep margarine on it, some vanilla in a very small dish or lid every little while.
Be careful about using the bathroom, it spreads the pain.
White Vinegar

Milk works well on burns of all types...something to do with the calcium. Make sure its cold, and soak em for a while. Good luck, dont touch ur eyes, nose or any other soft tissue body part! =)
Dawn dish washing liquid straight on your fingers. It will suck the oil from the peppers right out.
Maybe putting some plain yogurt on your fingers would help. If you don't have that, try milk. I know that dairy products help sooth the discomfort experienced when eating hot foods so maybe that will help.
Also try lavender oil; it's great on burns.
If that doesn't work, try the Neosporin or Gold Bond gels with pain killers in them. Your fingers may have had little cuts on them and the burning is so bad because the chili's chemicals are underneath your skin.

You should have someone call the hospital. Sometimes they will give you advice over the phone. Keep you fingers soaking in vegetable oil. Keep the air off them. You may just have to wait it out. good luck!
