Is there a time frame before an employer fires an employee because of missing days cause by injury/sicknes?
Question:
Answers:
If you're working in at at will state, they can fire you whenever they want.
If the bosses want you gone, it doesn't matter how many excuses you present showing where you've been.
If you get fired and you don't think it's fair, get a lawyer.
It is based on the employer's policy.
If you're out extensively due to illness, it is important that you furnish your employers with a doctor's statement to this fact. If it's going to be potentially a protracted illness, you may want to consider going on an extended "sick leave" covered under the FMLA.

I think the best thing to do is check your contract. If u are under any probationary period they can fire u. if they want u gone they will make up any excuse they can
If it is something serious you can take an unpaid leave of absence under the "Family Medical Leave Act". Your employer will have a form for you to fill out, I believe you can be gone up to three months. Your employer will have to hold your job position and your current pay until you come back. Check with your employer for more details.
