How many days does it take for nicotine to get out of your system?

Question:
like, after your last cig. how many days would it take so it wouldn't show up on a blood test?

Answers:
It takes 3 full days for 99% of nicotine to be flushed out of your system (if you are hydrated and drinking enough water).
There is speculation that it comes out of some organs (pancreas, liver) around the 6th or 7th day. It would not be detectable in a test.but I'm still trying to figure out why you would have to undergo a test for nicotine in your system to begin with?
I think it takes months get get every last trace out of your body, not sure they'd be looking for it on a blood test though.
