So have a large glass of milk and a Turkey sandwich.
you need to wind down, try drinking a glass of milk and then getting ready for bed. lay down and count sheep or something...usually that never worked for me though. You could also try keeping your mind clear or thoughts running through your head, becuase before you go to sleep is when your brain tries to organize your thoughts..so just relax and before you know it, it will be morning.
My aunt (who is a doctor, btw) always tells me to drink warm milk. I don't know if it works or not, because I HATE MILK and haven't tried it. But if you are ok with milk, you could try it!!

could it be your caffeine intake, if your sure it's not perhaps you have insomnia, talk to your parents, a doctor would be able to diagnose you and help you find a treatment that's right for you.
ive heard these things work:
lie in bed. listen to soft music f u can. focus on an object, then close your eyes for 30 seconds. You're eyes should get heavy, and u should fall asleep.
for future reference: try some 'sleepytime' tea, ive heard it's called. look for it in the coffe isle at the store.
Watch a movie. it usually works for me.
And listen to the guy who said something about the milk, turkey, and peanuts.

maybe you re all stressed out that s why you could nt get sleep...
Lay down and count (in your head) backwards from 100 - 1,repeat if you aren't asleep by 1.
If your mind wanders while counting..just get back on track and keep counting.If you're not asleep after the first countdown...you probably will at least be asleep by the third.

Melatonin is supposed to help sleeping. I have been told.
