Can tonsillectomy cause your voice to deepen?

Question:

Answers:
Your voice will change while you are healing. I had a great singing voice before my tonsillectomy and not so great after but my tonsills were about four inches long and rooted in the whole length quite unusual. If your tonsills were normal you should have the same voice as before.
no. The depth of your voice is controlled by the length of your vocal cords. Your tonsils are in the back of your throat; nowhere near the vocal cords.
