Bee sting??
Question:
Answers:
Try putting a little vinegar on it, it takes away the stinging sensation.
Might sound weird, but I put toothpaste on stings & bites. The mint cools the area. After the toothpaste dries a bit but a bit of toilet paper on top and you won't get toothpaste on your clothes.
Initial pain should go away within a few hours to a day, but if ou're "delicate" like me, it will prob. stay a bit swollen and itch for about a week.
Meat tenderizer is supposed to be good (in the spices section at the grocery store). There are enzymes in it that should help.
It will take a while to heal :(
Put ice on it (20 min at a time), take a benadryl, take aspirin or ibuprofen
after you make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to your owie.
When the pain will subside varies based on a wide variety of factors.
DON'T LISTEN TO WHAT PEOPLE TELL YOU!
Vinegar, meat tenderizer, toothpaste, hydrochloric acid... none of those remedies is SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN to work. In fact, there've been clinical trials that have proven that they DON'T WORK.
Only medically accepted treatment is appling diphenhydramine (Benadryl) topically to the sting site, apply ice, and take an OTC NSAID pain reliever (Aspirin, Ibuprofin).
