I have a swollen mosquito bite! Please help!?

Question:
So yeserday I had a mosquito bite on my ankle. It was just like all the other mosquito bites I had. Then the next day it swelled up like huge! I can still walk and it doesn't hurt. Just itches like crazy. I've put ice on it today. I don't think it's a spider bite, because I see no bite marks. It doesn't hurt when I touch it. What else can I do to help the swelling and itching to go down! Thanks in advance! =)

Answers:
This will sound dumb, but it is free and it works for me and my family better than store bought creams.

With your thumbnail, make an "X" or a cross on where the mosquito bit you. Then, put some of your own spit on the area you made a cross on.

The X with cause your blood to distribute the mosquito's poison and your spit will neutralize the itch. What makes you itch is the mosquito saliva and your own saliva neutralizes it.
Ice and hydrocortisone 1% cream. An DON'T SCRATCH it!! That releases more histamines that makes it even itchier! Just give it a few days, and it'll be gone before you know it! Good luck, feel better!
Put some plain white toothpaste on it. Don't ask me why but it works for itching.
Put some Mustard Oil on it.
take some benadril. you might be allergic to it. My daughter is the same way. The Benadril will make you tired so take it at night. you can buy it over the counter.
