If your jaw starts hurting for no reason, does that mean it's growing?

Question:
Just wondering.

Answers:
Usually teeth growing or a problem in your teeth or gums.
no it usually means something is wrong with your teeth
Might be TMJ or may be grinding teeth while asleep. It could even be wisdom teeth.
There are NO SUCH THINGS AS GROWING PAINS!
Soo many doctors told me that about my legs, and it turned out to be something very wrong! lol

There is an actual cause for all kinds of pain.
And unless you have a VERY rare disorder that causes your jaw to grow WAAAY faster and bigger than the rest of your body, it's very likely that you're getting your wisdom teeth in.

Either way, you'll need to go to the dentist, because he's the one who will fix it, either by getting your wisdom teeth out or by getting you braces for something called TemporalMandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD aka TMJ).
Take some ibuprofin and put either a heating pad on it, and see if that helps the pain.
Good luck! I have TMJD ANd had messed up wisdom teeth! I feel your pain!
