Knee pain?
Question:
Answers:
Where does your knee hurt? Often knee pain can arise from deficits in the foot. This is especially true if you have pronated (flat) feet then that can cause knee pain. If you do have flat feet then you need an athletic shoe that has good medial (inside) arch support. Feel free to message me if you have other questions
If it aches all the time, you probably have cartilage damage. Or that ACL thing could be torn. Exercise, usually to strengthen the quadriceps, might make the support of the knee stronger and help with the pain, or keep it from happening or getting worse. If it persists, and you still want to run, you may need surgery and rehab. Depending on how old you are, the cartilage may be wearing away. Early intervention, some types of minor surgery, may help you avoid knee replacement later. I didn't know I had arthritis, and ALL my cartilage was gone by age 50. Don't ignore this problem
