My brother keeps sleepwalking.?

Question:
My little brother is nine year old. y'see, i wake up in 3 in the morning sometimes and each time, my brother is sleepwalking. But he keeps running in to stuff and i don't want to wake him up.

Answers:
The most common reasons for somnambulism (sleepwalking) are anxiety and stress and is more common in boys between the ages of 6 and 12. He may need short-term therapy or you all may need family therapy, depending on the home situation. Report this to your parents, not us. They may not be aware of it. You are right not to wake him. Somnambulists should never be awakened abruptly. You can speak quietly to him and tell him you're going to lead him back to bed now. But you really should let your parents handle this.
I believe that generally, the best thing to do with sleepwalkers is to watch them carefully and make sure they don't hurt themselves.
You should wake him up and send him back to bed before he gets hurt.
It seems like kids in that age range have a higher frequency of sleepwalking.
It won't do any harm to wake a sleepwalker
if us see him just like point him back to bed or wake him
