What does this mean if I slept for 17hrs?

I went to bed at 4am and slept till 9pm. I was so tired. Is this ok to get 17hrs of sleep?

have you been doing a lot of physical work lately? Have you been getting very little sleep? It is ok for your body to just want a break and sleep that long. It just means you're tired. If it starts to become a regular thing, that's when it's not normal, but everyone once in a while is nothing to worry about. Sleep ist the best thing for your body.
you're just exhausted and you body needs to regain it energy. i happens to me aswell but i only slept for 13 hour. to tire from work then internet the whole night.
You lucky person. I would love to sleep 8 hrs' straight, I'm lucky to get 5 hrs'. Like the other person said once in a while the body just shut's down and you are off in La La land.When I was a lot younger I could sleep for 10 to 12 hrs. every day. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a regular thing. If you are really worried . Have your doctor set you up for a sleep test.
Its fine as long as its occasional.
