Sorry to hear that you are having this unusual pain. Before I elaborate, let me make sure I advise you to seek medical advice in person. Many of these conditions require a trained professional to see the problem and obtain a thorough history to diagnose. You only get two feet, take good care of them.
I'm not an orthopoedic surgeon, podiatrist or a vascular surgeon, but I am a general surgery resident. Pain in the feet can come from a variety of sources, some of which need immediate attention and others which need rest and elevation. Your description, really doesn't help separate these two groups of diagnosis. When I am evaluating a patient with a particular pain it helps to identify the PQRST of the pain. What Provokes the pain, what is the Quality (sharp, burning, throbbing), Radiation (does it go anywhere eslse), Severity (scale of 1-10) andTiming (morning, night, after sitting...etc.). From your description it sounds like it is related to activity and with being overweight it could be a stress fracture or plantar fasciitis. These would both be treated with rest and elevation. The relative change in temperature between feet could imply an infection or vascular stasis. Looking for a break in the skin such as a bug bite or scratch could help. If this was either of these, seeing a podiatrist or surgeon is recommended. These are only a few of the many problems which could occur in the feet. I hope this helps point you in the right direction.
youve probly strained a muscle in your foot go too a doctor ond get it wrapped
wrap it in an ace bandage then go to the doctor... today!
It is inflamed, not necessarily broken. Since you do not mention an actual injury it maybe arthritis or tendinitis. If you are able to take regular aspirin, do. Not Tylenol since it will not help with the inflammation . You should see your doctor to rule out any injury of course.
Being a truck driver, 43, and overweight puts you at a higher risk for things like heart attacks, strokes, blood clots, etc.
See a doctor - you could be having a problem with circulation in that foot.
