When it comes to toes, it's hard to tell if it's broken unless your toe is pointing in some strange position or you see bone and blood. If it were broken, a doctor would simply tape it to the next toe. There's really nothing to do but wait for it to heal.
In your case, I doubt your toe is broken. You don't even see any bruising. However, you may see some later. Don't let it worry you if you do. Just give your toe a little time and it'll feel better.
if they are STILL hurting, then go to the doctor. you may have broken or fractured some of your toes.
It will turn black and blue if broken and be very painful. You could get and x-ray to be sure.
its stubbed not stumped
If they are broke they will do nothing for them anyway unless they are way out of place in which case if they were you wouldnt be on here asking if they are broke you would know.
just be careful with them try and stay off your feet as much as possible save your co-pay fee becuase he will just tell you the same
usually when you have broken a bone the area will almost immediately turn black and blue. it will be warm to the touch and of course swollen and pain full to move bend or walk on.
If your toe is broken there is nothing that they can do for this, save your time and money. The best thing to do is tape the toe that you think is broke next to the other one to keep it into place. (you can change this once a day.) Also the only other thing that a doctor would do is put you into a hard sole shoe. You can find this at your local drug store, a hard sole shoe will keep your foot from bending and will help to decrease the pain.
