What can u share w/ me about laser eye surgery?
I want to get it for my bf as a gift .. kind of a early bday/Valentine's gift. Have u had it done? are u happy w/ the results? Who did it? Cost? There are so many places!
Can running in cold weather trigger a migraine like headache?
Answer:
It is expensive. I haven't had it done, but everyone that I know that has had it done raves about their vision. They are very happy with the results. They no longer have to wear glasses or contacs.
Have you had the pneumonia vaccine?
I've had it done, about 5 years ago.. it wasn't painful, just slightly itchy/scratchy for the next couple of days.
My sister had it done last year, and was back at work after two days off (I was off for almost a week) - the technology has gotten so much better, so there was very little discomfort.
Go for it... it was worth the $3000 grand five years ago... should be a lot cheaper now.
Make sure you get a referral from your GP...
Hi please answer I am tired of getting sick so often I am young its too much.?
I just had Lasik Surgery done on Friday 1/19. It's a breeze! And I can totally see as if I was wearing my contacts or glasses. So yes I'm totally happy with the results! I had mine done at NC Wake Forest Baptist Hospital Eye Center. LOVE THEM! Good luck!
LASIK is the procedure to correct myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism so that you won't need to wear contact lenses or eyeglasses. It is a method of reshaping the external surface of the eye (the cornea) to correct low, moderate and high degrees of near-sightedness, astigmatism and far-sightedness. A complete eye assessment is required to check the patient’s suitability for LASIK. Tests include refraction, contrast sensitivity, pupil size, pupil reaction, retinal examination, tonometry and pachymetry. Other specialised treatments under the Wavefront technology include the aberrometry, topolyzer measurements, topography and tests for dry eye among others.
But since LASIK is an expensive procedure in the US,many people these days opt to travel overseas for their treatment. Coutries in the South and Southeast Asia - India/Singapore/Thailand - and even Mexico have hospitals that offer eye surgery/treatments for 60-80% less than their counterparts in the US.
However, you need to be careful about the quality of hospitals there. You must make sure that they are JCI/JCAHO certified. One such affordable medical tourism facilitator that works only with quality hospitals abroad is Healthbase (http://www.healthbase.com). You can research about the various medical procedures, communicate with the surgeons overseas, apply for medical loans, plan and book your travel all at their website.
What is Vicodin? Because it sucks?
My sister has had this done. She said the procedure went fine, however this was about 4 years ago, and she recently had to get glasses again. I don't know if it is worth it, if your eyes get bad again years after the surgery.
its great i have seen so many military people getting thsi done and then no glasses they really love it you have to be careful about a week or so and that is it. nothing more to it and i suspect you are awake through the whole thing. its not bad.
I recently had laser eye surgery and it was the best thing ever. Well there are two types of surgery the laser and intralasik. The laser in kind of neat because the doctor removes the sclera from the eye and then they perform the surgery on that eye it takes like 1 minute and then they put the sclera back to its place, but its important to note that if the doctor doesn't put the sclera back the right way you can end up being blind. But almost never happens but it something you should know. It really was a very fast surgery and painless. What i liked the most was the fact that i didnt have to wait to notice the result cause you can "see" then right away. The intralasik surgery does not require to remove the sclera but it everything else is the same thing. However the only bad thing is that your eyes will be a little bit sensible to sunlight for like 2 or 3 days and you will feel like sleeping a lot. After the surgery you are not allowed to wear make up, or take a shower untill the next day. I am very happy with the result and i tell everyone o know to it.
How do they find the right places to supply trigger point injections near dozens to choose from?
Many people are uninformed regarding lasik surgery. The results are NOT permanent. The correction only lasts for a limited time....not for life....
Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Laser surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Dental surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her Dental surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

Alot of people say they see lights in the sky when they look up or at white walls..?
From a person with very bad eyesight: I would be rather taken aback by someone gifting me with laser eye surgery. Really strange and invasive sort of present. Does your boyfriend want to get laser eye surgery at all? Has he mentioned this in any way?
He might take it as an insult if he hasn't raised the issue. In other words, you are saying he is not good enough for you as he is, and he needs to get fixed (eye surgery) in order to be acceptable to you.
Many people choose not to have the surgery, and are not uptight or self-conscious about wearing glasses or contacts. I can't even wear contacts, and some people have asked if I was planning to get surgery, as if there was something wrong with wearing glasses!
I do have a friend that had some serious problems with laser eye surgery, 3 different surgeries on one eye and he still has difficulty seeing out of it. In my state it costs a minimum of $700 or so per eye, and also not everyone can be a candidate for the surgery.
I enjoy this cramp within my chest what should i do?
Well I have never had this done, but my particular job gives me a unique position to offer advice. I am sourcing professional for a large fortune 500 company. My job is to analyze different companies for a particular service or product, find the best price and best provider for this service or product.
The service here is laser eye surgery. I would recommend talking to several establishments. Questions to ask our:
How long have you been in business? (the longer the better)
How many procedures has this physician performed? (the more done the more experience)
Do you offer any guarantees? (will they stand behind their work)
How much? (this isn't always the most inportant thing to consider in this situation)
Can you provide references? (Word of mouth speaks volumes) or ask your physician who is highly recommended.)
Lastly, ask about any possible side effects, risks, and treatment for these possiblities.
It seems like a lot but when you have all the facts it will make your decision alot easier to make. I hope this helps.
