Will i get crutches if i get stitches on the sole of my foot?

most probably because the doctor will definitely recommend that you not step on your foot so it can heal faster...if you dont use at least one crutch then you will be putting pressure on the injury and it might reopen, start bleeding, or even get an infection.
I am pretty positive you will need to be on crutches. My father in law had surgery on his foot to remove a foreign object and was on crutches because the incision was on the sole of his foot. I believe he was on them for about 4 weeks (although he did start using only one crutch towards the end of that time frame).
