Apendicitis maybe?

Question:
Alright well I've had random tummy aches for the past while but it was nothing huge.. and today I started to realise I have a really bad pain in a part of my tummy (the right side, a bit higher than my hip bone(not much higher)) And there's a pressure when I touch it and it feels swollen.. could it be? THANKS.

Answers:
That sounds exactly like appendicitis. Don't wait! Get it checked right away. If it bursts it can actually kill a person.
I am a medical transcriptionist and type on appendicitis. The warning signs are right lower quadrant pain [hurting in the lower right part of your stomach], fever, anorexia [not eating], vomiting if you do eat, etc. If you have any of these symptoms, please see a doctor because a ruptured appendix is serious.
If you press in on the area and it feels better then release and it hurts worse(much worse), it is a major sign of appendicitis. If you are running a fever with it you should go to the ER for sure to get checked out!
