Question:
I recently got a blister, and it poped on its own so i decided to remove the popped skin, and now its red. Will the red go away?
Answers:
blisters form as a protective mechanism to prevent infection. As you have removed your best protection when you pulled off the skin, you need to provide artificial protection. Apply Neosporin and a bandage and change it every day, until it heals, and that should take about a week, if you haven't already created an infection.
Yes it will go away, it is just the sensitive new skin underneath.
It will take a few weeks, but yes, it will go away once the skin wears itself in.
