Help for unexplained pain in my middle finger?

Question:
The middle finger on my right hand has been in much pain for the past two days. The first day that it started happening, I thought it was from needing to crack it, so I did to no avail. It has worsened to the point that I can barely bend it without being in pain. Any ideas why this is happening, what it is, and how to make it better?

Please don't leave anything saying "oooh, it's from overuse." Haha not funny. I really don't flip people off with it that much.

Thanks :)

Answers:
Maybe cracking fingers if you do that, maybe caused the pain. Is it the cold season or raining. A rheumatism, has caused it, I got sore fingers when I was ten and not all from the cane at school. Had them till 30's ; moved north to a warmer climate and dryer location. Pain 99% gone. If is joints ginger is good food to alleviate pain.
Sounds like you may be eating to much chinese food! you really should stop.
Could be some damage to the bone or the cartilage. I'm no doctor, but it sounds like you may be worsening it by attempting to crack it. Might want to get that xrayed, as it could be a number of problems. If you are feeling any numbness or tingling, that could be a sign of nerve damage and you need to see a physician ASAP. Good luck.
You are not using it enough
