Mosquito bites! help please!?

I have this same problem, with having mosquitoes attracted to me more than others. A few things I found that helps:
1. Be sure to make sure that no mosquitoes are in your home...yeah, may seem basic, but I've been fed on more than once at night. Easiest way to tell is have the lights off and listen, they will fly down early if they think you're asleep and if quiet you should be able to hear them.
2. Just as already mentioned, remove standing water around your home.
3. Use bug spray to keep them away more. There are some natural bug sprays that I highly recommend. Burts bees insect repellent is what I use, and while it smells a little strong, is really good.
Hopefully this helps, I know how you feel about bug bites..I get them all too often as well, but so far these steps helped me a little. Some also recommend higher levels of B-12, but I don't know how well that works yet :)
Mosquitoes are everywhere, you may have been bitten at home. Empty any standing water around where you are staying (if possible) and use calamine lotion on the bites you have. They lay their eggs in standing water so eliminating it may help reduce the number of them around and calamine helps stop itching and helps heal faster.
The fact that you have 20 bites sounds not like mozzies but midgie bites, midgies are hard to see and their bites are oftem worse than a mozzie and take longer to heal. If you have a bath, I suggest you go the chemist and get some Pine Tarsal solution, its yellow. Put about half a glass in warm bath water and soak in it for about 40 minutes. Pine Tarsal is excellent for reducing bite swelling and stopping the itching. You can even get Pine Tarsal cream/lotion but the best way is to soak in it. Good Luck
