How do you live with constant pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Question:
I hurt all of the time some times I just wish that I can lay down and die. I don't want to be so druged
that my mind is fussy. Any pointers?

Answers:
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I know how bad the pain can be at times. I know what you mean about not wanting the fuzzy head. I had to take a Diclofenac Tab the other day. I made the mistake of driving a few blocks and I almost fell to sleep driving. You can try a relaxing soak in the tub. I do that sometimes. Sometimes I think if I got down into the tub I wouldn't be able to get out again, but the soak does help. My Dr. has me on Methotrexate once weekly to try to stop the decease from progressing. Some cities have support groups for sufferers. If you ever need to talk to others who are going through the same try asking your Dr. about a support group.
fussy? just take the pills they're there for a reason.
have you ever heard of enbrel? my little brother has juvenille rheumatoid arthritis and he could barely walk because his case was so bad, but then he started doing enbrel and now he's back to playing sports and running around. enbrel is a shot and you can have it on the thigh or the stomach. you can do it at home and you need it done twice a week. keep fighting and good luck!
Try a Yahoo search for "rheumatoid arthritis" + "natural remedies".
