I am hung over at work... what should I eat/drink/do to regain energy and become fully sober?

Question:
I work a desk job so mental capacity needs to be at full strength more than my physical capacity. However, I would like a way to regain both if possible

Answers:
Salty foods are the best - it will help to retain all of the fluids you are drinking. The reason you feel bad is because you are dehydrated. When I go out drinking I always either eat something really salty or swallow 1/2 teaspoon of salt and down a bottle of water and I don't feel so bad in the morning. Also I find that if you take Benadryl before going to bed helps. Have a good day
You need a good balanced meal with grains (carbs) and some kind of protein ... like a chicken sandwich or something of that nature. Also, drink water or smartwater, gatorade, etc. to hydrate yourself smartwater and gatorade help restore your electrolytes too. If you have a vitamin, take it. A product called zipfizz or even emergen-c help restore the vitamins that your body is deprived of too.

Feel better!
bummer, you should drink a lot of water... try and get some breakfast, too, if you have time.
an energy drink with tons of caffine!
I used to take an Alka Seltzer, drink coffee, and eat a sandwich. You'll feel better and be able to function mentally.
2 aspirin, a few white castle burgers and a cup of coffee...ha ha.good luck
Stop drinking! This would solve everything. AA is out there if you need help.
