The doctor said i had a 3rd degree apesiotomy and i was wondering how some of you fealt with yours and how long it took to heal. It hurts to sit down and to stand up like im pulling the stitches out and am really weak is all this normal. And how long before i might be able to be up and moving around again?

I didn't have an epesiotomy; my doctor believed in a more natural course. The result, however, is similar. It didn't take much more than a week or two, I think, before I felt it had "generally" healed. I have to admit, though, that it was at least a month or six weeks before I felt I could have intercourse without doing damage. Bear in mind that my memory may be faulty as this was 10 years ago.
