How do you remove a bumb on your eye lid?
Question:
Answers:
Sties are extremely painful to have removed even by a doctor. I know I have it done. I suggest you wash with warm water and wait. Perhaps antibiotics if the doctor is willing to prescript them. But check with a doctor and be patience.
Chances are it is a stye/stie. It is spelled both ways. A stie forms when a gland on the eyelid becomes infected. Sties usually heal on their own, but you can place hot compresses on it to speed up the process. You do that for about 15 minutes, three to four times a day. Sties usually cause redness and pain. They are not harmful to the vision. Do not try to "pop" it yourself. The stie will rupture, drain, and heal on its own.
If it is not itchy, or draining it is harmless and will go away on it's own in most cases. You can use warm compresses several times a day, often they will be gone with in a few hours. If it persists or grows bigger, becomes itchy, or starts to drain...you would be wise to call your doctor or ophthalmologist office to have it looked at, you may need some anti biotics.
my mom says that rubbing very gentley with sait will make it go away make sure that salt doesnt get in your eye also first make sure your eye is damp then rub the salt .
