Just let your mom know what is up, so she can help you. You can start by placing some ice over the affected area. Yeah, I know that sucks, but you got to do it! Ice pack placed in a damp towel, so it gets really cold over that area. Use the ice for about 10-15 minutes. It'll feel better afterwards, but don't do too much, for the pain will return. After doing this a few times (wait about an hour between sessions) and laying off of the gymnastics, then see how you feel. You may need to consult a doctor or physical therapist after that, if you are still in pain. Good luck!
first of all TELL YOU MOM. next if you are doing the splits regularly you may have torn a muscle or damaged a tendon, maybe you are doing too much?
if you dont go to see the doctor or tell your parents later you wont be able to walk any more that time your parents will care more about you, they will not happy anymore
tell your mom she not going to complain about the cost she just going to be worried about your health and if it hurts so bad that you cont handle it you have to tell your mom right away so you can go to the er something could be broken I'm 12 too and i would tell my mom no matter how much i think it would cost
