Smoking Cigarettes and Nervous or Scared Feeling That is Gone After Quiting?

I quit smoking cigarettes 8 months ago, I smoked 2 to 3 packs a morning for 27 years. All that time I always have a type of nervous or terrified feeling that would come and travel through out the day. I can’t read aloud it was every single daytime but was most of the time. About 5 months vertebrae I noticed that be no longer the case, I no longer enjoy that feeling. Do any of you Smoker or former smokers own any input?
