Are air beds always hot or warm compared to normal matresses?

Question: I just got one of those select comfort beds, and it always feels warm to me. Any idea why this is so?

Answers:
Since there is no air flow through this type of mattress it will be warmer than normal. You can use a thicker pad or a topper of foam to help carry off the heat.
