Question:
I did a search the other day and saw some old questions on here and just had to bring this to YAHOO today. I drink a cup of coffee in the morning. Every night when I lay down in bed to go to sleep- I get nauseaus. I truly believe it's from coffee. Sometimes I get a headache with the nausea. One person in my search said they think their nausea was from coffee in the a.m. and that I agree with. Another said they have had their nausea at night for about 3-4 years and SO HAVE I...because this is about when I started drinking it. I am NOT an avid coffee drinker but to stay awake I drink it--I am not sure what else to do-- not sure I want to drink tea..but does anyone else get nausea at bedtime...and if so - it may be our coffee/caffeine...I didn't drink it for 2 days and so far, no nausea..
Answers:
My first thought was pregnancy...but i read you question completely and towards the end you stated that you stopped drinking coffee for a few days and no nausea, we can rule that out. My next suggestion would be, stop all together with the coffee, if you cant, you may want to try that new coffee from Folgers, it is supposed to be gentler on you stomach, I'm not a coffee drinker, so i don't know the name of it, but i do know its from Folgers and it has a green stripe or green something on the label. If that doesn't work you may want to consult with your Dr.
Take Care and Good Luck!
You probably have GERD. Stay away from caffiene, don't eat close to bedtime and take Zantac or Pepcid or Tums.
